Mass Market Paperbacks. Used to have a big bookshelf of them for years…
I put them up for sale – along with most of the rest of my personal collection – as “seed” for the business when I started in 2002.

These days, the few that I have collect in little piles or stacked in empty spaces on bookshelves. Basically they’re either “will read” or “read long ago, to re-read sometime.”

I’d been casting about for a bookshelf specifically for my MMPBs, but not seeing what I wanted.

My wonderful wife, she’s the shipper in the shop, so she knows cardboard like nobody else. She constructed this ingenious bookshelf out of corrugated cardboard, glue, papier-mâché (yeah I just had to look that up), and paint.

I love it!
